Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Samuel is currently one-half of the directing team at Iowa Colony High School. He graduated from the University of Houston's School of Theatre & Dance in 2024 with a degree in Theatre Education.

Sam believes that the intersection of theatre and education is the birthplace of magic. 

 

Among being a theatre artist, educator, chef, dancer, and banana pudding enthusiast, Sam is a people person— definitively. Theatre is the telling of people's stories. It is created and performed by different groups of people. It has the power to bring people together, regardless of their walks of life, and reveal who we are to one another and to ourselves.​
