Lantrip Players
My experience with Lantrip Players Theatre Troupe began in 2020 during my Freshman Year. It was the very beginning of my education, and I knew that there was so much to learn, and this theatre troupe was going to help me learn through both success and failure. The biggest challenge of my first year with this troupe was primarily because of the virtual format that we had to adapt to. I had my fair share of experience teaching kids but never had I attempted to do so through an online format.

Throughout the year, we planned and taught both video lesson plans and live lesson plans that were taught through Microsoft Teams. Click this image to view our Intro to Production lesson, which I both wrote and edited.

Following my first year at Lantrip, I interviewed to become the Assistant Administrator for the following year, a position that is typically held by a Junior. This was an exciting challenge that I was ready to take on, not only because I was going to assume this position of leadership, but I was given the opportunity to meet the students from the previous year in person.​
Finally, during my Junior Year, I served as a co-administrator for the theatre troupe. During this year, I got to step further into the role and hone my administrative skills.
