Along with the creation of the Ocean Filibuster study guide, the Theatre Education students assisted in creating an interactive intermission experience for audience members to participate in. The group I was a part of was in charge of creating signage throughout the experience.

Study Guide Development

The University of Houston Theatre Education Program selects one of the school's productions from that season to be the play which a study guide is created for. Each Theatre Education major is responsible for devising an arts-integrated lesson plan that can be taught prior to seeing the show or after the performance. Upon completion, the study guide is distributed to local schools to be used in their classrooms.
